Park Plazas – Nestled Amid a Thousand Trees

A Park Plazas Home

Do you want to live within Santa Fe city limits, yet have miles of trails to enjoy? Then be sure to check out Park Plazas. It offers eight miles of well-maintained walking paths meandering through the 75 acres that make up this neighborhood. A very special place to live indeed.

Homes Found Here

A well-established area, most homes here were built 30 or more years ago. You’ll find townhouses on the 36 cul-de-sacs, as well as free standing homes without shared walls. The majority are 2 or 3 bedrooms and under 1,700 square feet. However, homes with over 2,000 square feet of living space can be found here too.

While hosting open houses here for Lise, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting several residents. All moved to Santa Fe from outside of New Mexico. All quick to offer their assistance, if I was ever in the need of something. Plus, all shared common traits when asked what they loved about the neighborhood: the walking paths, the people, the gatherings, the proximity to things when errands must be run, and the fact it is a quiet, peaceful place to live.

In 2016, homes sold between $179,000 and $451,000. The variance in price defines the variety of homes available. Modest to stately, a bit of a project to fabulously remodeled – there is sure to be something here that meets your needs.

Sound appealing? Then visit to search for homes currently available in Park Plazas. Find something you need to see, then contact Lise to schedule a tour!

Hyde Park Estates – A Santa Fe Eastside Neighborhood

Santa Fe’s Eastside contains many diverse neighborhoods. From the quaint to the spectacular. From the downtown barrio to the wooded mountain hideaways. One charming mountain neighborhood just five minutes from downtown is Hyde Park Estates.

This is a well-established community, begun in the 1970’s, where neighbors demonstrate pride of ownership in their community. Most of the homes in here are owner occupied and it was designed with only one entrance.  The low-traffic road system provides a peaceful, serene setting. The community also has a private well water system with city water as a back-up source.

Enjoy the Great Outdoors

You will often see neighbors outside walking their dogs, enjoying our pristine mountain air and spectacular views. There are many places to walk or hike within the neighborhood. In fact, many hiking trails in the community lead into the bordering National Forest.

Hyde Park Estates Prime Location

One of the nicest aspects of Hyde Park Estates is its location. It is a short drive to downtown Santa Fe and a short drive to the Santa Fe Ski Basin.  Residents have easy access to skiing as well as the many cultural events and restaurants that Santa Fe offers. Even better, the world famous Japanese Spa: Ten Thousand Waves is across Hyde Park Road from Hyde Park Estates. Some residents can easily walk there for a massage or a soak in one of their soothing hot tubs.
